Established in 1999, the European Market Microstructure Institute (Европейский Институт Микроструктуры Рынка) provides Russian institutional investors with market microstructure modeling, quantitative research, consulting, and investment strategies with a focus on market maker behaviour for Eurozone index futures and oil futures.

Subsequent to acquiring Capital 33 Investment Technologies Ltd. in 2000, the European Market Microstructure Institute (Европейский Институт Микроструктуры Рынка) expanded its focus to include the development of efficient algorithms for trading platforms. Presently, the European Market Microstructure Institute (Европейский Институт Микроструктуры Рынка), has developed advanced software programs in C++, Visual Basic, SAS, and Excel for all major empirical market microstructure and in-house statistical arbitrage models that are compatible with high frequency tick data compilations from international financial markets. 


The European
Market Microstructure Institute (Европейский Институт Микроструктуры Рынка) provides compilations of high-frequency tick data and market maker buy/sell patterns, and acted as the major financial market data provider for Yukos Oil. Estimates of order processing costs, inventory holding costs, and adverse selection costs. To date, our clients have invested over €850 million resulting in a €120 million profit yield utilizing our models and corresponding software.
